Michael specializes in career transitions, helping people successfully navigate today’s incredibly volatile, ever-changing world. He is the former founder of Offline Media, one of the first integrated Web promotions companies, and for the past 25 years, he has held leadership roles at a number of successful Internet start-up companies, including Trulia, SideStep/Kayak, MapQuest, Match.com and Silverlight Digital.

Michael is a certified Life Coach from iPEC, the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching.  He is also certified as a master practitioner in guiding clients through iPEC’s Energy Leadership Index (ELI). Michael’s distinctive  talents include his vision  (five successful dot-com runs), strategic planning, business development, a results-driven focus, an emotional/spiritual awareness, and an ability to successfully navigate through change.   He is still active in the Internet advertising community and serves as SVP, Managing Director for Silverlight Digital, one of the Top 100 healthcare marketing agencies in the U.S.

• Leads sales and marketing efforts for leading healthcare marketing agency

Director of Strategic Partnerships, Trulia

• As an individual contributor and coach, managed consumer advertising revenue for real estate start-up. 
• The company was eventually acquired by Zillow for $3.5 billion dollars. 

Director of Sales, Kayak and SideStep

• Established strategic partnerships with Priceline, JetBlue, Hyatt and United Airlines. The company was eventually acquired by Priceline for $2 billion.
• At SideStep, ramped up company’s business from $1.2 million to $17 million in four years. SideStep was later acquired by Kayak for $280 million.  

National Account Manager, InterActiveCorp (IAC)

• Managed national ad sales for Ticketmaster, Citysearch, Evite and Match.com.   
• Established partnerships with Toyota, Nestlé-Purina, Allstate and Ford. 

Director of Midwest Sales, MapQuest

•  Moved to Chicago to head up Midwest ad sales operations. 
• The company was eventually sold to AOL for $1.1 billion.

Founder and President of Offline Media 

• Developed financial and college-based ad-supported programs, managing all aspects of product development, marketing, production, accounting and sales. 
• Worked with advertisers that included Barron’s, Merrill Lynch, Charles Schwab, Atlantic Monthly, the U.S. Army Reserve and Rockport Shoes. 

Investor and Public Relations Manager, Honda North America 

• Wrote annual and quarterly reports and hosted meetings and factory tours with financial analysts. 
• Developed interactive communications strategy for Honda’s president. 
• As corporate spokesman, fielded press inquiries and hosted events.
